The annual event brings families together and offers a chance to say thanks to the community, Library Director Alma Henderson said.
"[Family days] are important because it gives parents needed social activities for their children," Henderson told Daily Voice. "They can meet and greet each other and network for what they call play dates today, and it doesn't cost them or requires special attire."
The 10 a.m. event features Bob Conrad, puppeteer and ventriloquist, who will provide the entertainment.
"I had him come because he is a master in the field and comfortable with children of all ages," Henderson said.
Conrad also does magic with balloons and drawings.
All ages are invited to the gathering and preregistration is encouraged.
